Manitoba

 

The intent of the festival is to celebrate the new heritage and culture of the northern pioneer and to preserve many of the skills and entertainment inherent to them by basing the celebrations and competitions on those activities. There is dogsled races, flour packing, tea and bannok baking, Fur Queen pagent and of course King Trapper.
